America
Central America is defined geographically
as an isthmus; a narrow strip of land connected to two larger
land masses and bordered by two sides of water. Central America
covers approx 0.1 of the Earth's surface and has a population
of roughly 40 million. Spanish is the dominant language with
indigenous languages still spoken in some of the villages
and towns.
